Google Announces Special Offers for the New Pixel 9 Pro Fold
Following the introduction of the Pixel 9 series and a significant enhancement to its AI capabilities, Google has revealed that pre-order deals for the Pixel 9 Pro Fold will be available in the UK until September 5, 2024.
Those who opt for the foldable smartphone can expect benefits like storage upgrades, discounts, and advanced AI features.
Instead of a direct price cut, Google is offering a "double the storage" promotion for the Pixel 9 Pro Fold. This means the 512 GB model is priced at £1,749, the same as the 256 GB version. However, there is no option to upgrade to a 1 TB model, as only two storage variants are available.
Google is also offering compelling trade-in deals, providing up to £835 off the list price. This includes a trade-in value of up to £535, with Google adding an extra £300 as part of the pre-order incentive. To receive the maximum discount, customers need to trade in a high-end device, such as the iPhone 15 Pro Max 1TB, which offers the highest trade-in value.
Additionally, Google’s online store features a 40% discount on the Pixel Watch 3 when purchased as part of a bundle, resulting in a £200 savings on the smartwatch.
During the "Made By Google" event, the highlight was the introduction of Gemini AI, showcasing the integration of generative AI across the Pixel 9’s software. The Pixel 9 Pro Fold includes a year of access to Google’s Gemini Advanced features, applicable to various Google services, including Gmail and Google Docs.
