The wait is almost over. As of January 2026, the Government of Pakistan has officially greenlit the 5G revolution. Federal IT Minister Shaza Fatima Khawaja has confirmed that the "bottleneck" of spectrum shortage is being cleared with the country's largest-ever auction.
